Tips for Rapid Flash Creation using Snap! Empower Flash Templates
Because Snap! EmpowerTM offers very robust capabilities for highly interactive Flash animations, you have countless ways to specify appearance, timing, navigation and more. You can start out with one of the hundreds of pre-built Flash templates in Snap! Empower and fully customize to fit your rapid e-Learning content. On a time crunch? Creating Just-in-Time training? Customize the basics for a clean, polished look with practically all of the work done for you. With all of your buttons, animations and timing already set up for you, you’ll develop training in a Snap!

Time-Saving Tips for Using Snap! Empower Flash Templates:
- Double click on any template to quickly preview the functionality before you drag it onto your page.
- To quickly move or delete multiple elements on your page, click outside of the page in Snap! Empower, create a box and drag it around all of the elements and simply move the group with your mouse pointer or select “Delete” on your keyboard to remove them.
- To customize your titles, you’ll have to “unlock” the titles in some of the templates. To do this, select the Page Elements tab from the right-hand pane, find the Page Title field and click the small “lock” symbol to unlock the page title and enter your customized text.
- Next to the lock, you'll see an "eye" symbol. Use this to show or hide elements on your page to focus on certain elements at a time.
- Storyboard your course or training ahead of time so you can quickly plug all of your content into the templates. For some free storyboarding tools, check out: Save Time with Free Storyboard Resources for Rapid e-Learning.
- Explore in your free time. The more experience you have with a tool, the more quickly you can navigate and develop your courses.
- Quickly delete extra elements from your page by choosing the Elements tab and then select Control as you click on multiple elements to delete. Make sure you delete all images, buttons, etc. that relate to the same element. An easy way to do this is to select all of the elements with the same number. For example, delete all of Block Arrow 1,Text Box 1, Photo 1, Text Button 1.
- To quickly edit multiple elements at once, within the Elements tab, click Control and select the multiple elements you would like to edit, then right click properties and edit away.
- You can right click on your Page or Project to save an edited page or template as a new, reusable template available in the Snap! Empower library.
